Clay Hamrick
PGA Golf Professional

Clay earned his PGA Membership in 1997.  He has extensive golf operations experience as well as an advanced teaching and playing background.  He has been nominated three times for PGA Teacher of the Year in his PGA Section. 

Clay is considered an expert with the STACK AND TILT Teaching System and has been pga_professional_logotrained extensively by the founders of that model.  He is the principal account  holder for Cleveland Golf in Kentucky and is considered an expert club fitter.  Among his other occupational experiences, he has been an instructor for PGA Tour Professionals.   

Clay recieved his BA in Psychology/Religion and MA in Psychological Counseling from Eastern Kentucky University.  He also was a four year varsity letterman for the Eastern Kentucky University Golf Team.  Clay curently is an Adjunct Professor at EKU teaching for the college of Exercise and Sports Science.

As the Battlefield Golf Club General Manager Clay has developed extensive programs that involve uses of new management techniques and occupational outreach development.  He has been very successful in placing young professionals in career employment due to his extensive network of professionals in the industry. 

Clay has a beautiful family( wife, two children) and feels very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to live in Madison County where he started his educational growth as a student athlete here at Earstern Kentucky University.
